These Terms and Conditions of Use govern your use of our service. They constitute a binding contract between you (the User) and GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd (the Company), regarding the terms under which the Company will provide the User with access to GS Yuasa Academy
BY REGISTERING TO SIGN UP TO THE GS YUASA ACADEMY ONLINE LEARNING, THE USER SIGNIFIES THEIR AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.
The User agrees that creating an account on the site, has the same legal effect as if it had been personally signed by the User.
We may periodically update these Terms to clarify our practices, or to reflect new or different practices, such as when we add new features to the GS Yuasa Academy.
GS Yuasa reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify and/or make changes to these Terms of Use at any time. If We make any substantial change to these Terms and Conditions of Use, we will post an update to the website.
Your continued use of GS Yuasa Academy following such updates shall mean that You accept the changes. We advise you to visit the Terms and Conditions of use page regularly to ensure You are aware of the latest version of the Terms.
GS Yuasa may modify the site or discontinue their availability at any time at their discretion.
All of your use, access and other actions relating to GS Yuasa Academy must be in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including, without limitations, laws relating to copyright and other intellectual property use, and to privacy and personal identity. You must agree to abide by all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
All information on GS Yuasa Academy, whether provided through video, literature or downloadable resource material, is intended as a guide only.
The Company cannot be held responsible for any damage to person(s) or property caused by following the information provided. Please consult the official manuals for official manufacturer’s information and guidance on correct procedures. If you are not confident seek advice from an accredited industry professional and do not attempt any work yourself.
The Company does not in any way exclude or limit its liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by its negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other matter for which it would be illegal for company to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
To maintain control over the account and to prevent anyone from accessing the account, the User should not reveal or share the password associated with the account to anyone. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account.
By registering with a team, the User is aware that team representatives can view their course progress as well as view/modify their stored personal information and enrolled course selection.
GS Yuasa Academy offers organisations the ability to link individual accounts to a central account. As part of this process, Users can request to be provided with an upgraded Team Leader account.
Users with Team Leader functionality can send individual invitations by email or upload a .csv list of multiple email addresses. An automatic email will then be sent to all email addresses with an invitation to sign up to GS Yuasa Academy with an account linked to the Team Leader’s organisation.
By using this facility, a single email is generated and sent; a GS Yuasa Academy account is not automatically generated. The recipient must sign up once the email has been received.
Once the emails have been sent, GS Yuasa will automatically delete all details entered into the system. Records of the invitation emails sent will not be retained. It is up to the recipient to create an account for themselves.
For the following guidelines, the team leader generating the invitation emails will be referred to as ‘The Sender’ and the intended recipient of the email ‘The recipient’.

The User agrees to abide by the Company’s rules stated below. The Company reserves the right to deny a User access if, in the Company’s sole discretion, the User has failed to abide by these Terms of Use.

The User agrees to compensate and defend fully the Company, its employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from and against any damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from any third-party claim, action or demand arising out of any breach by the User of any representation, warranty, covenant, obligation or duty of Subscriber under this Agreement.
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement between the User and the Company with respect to the GS Yuasa Academy website and supersedes all prior and coexistent understandings and agreements, both written and oral, with respect to the Services.
